Organized profiles
Keep executable paths, working directories, saves, arguments, and runtime choices together for each game.
A focused macOS launcher for classic Windows games
Oldgame VM helps you organize and launch legally owned Windows games on macOS, with profiles, runtime checks, and a setup flow built for older titles.
Your games
Ready when you are.Built around the essentials
A native macOS interface for managing user-owned Windows game files. The launcher does not include games, installers, Windows, or proprietary runtimes.
Keep executable paths, working directories, saves, arguments, and runtime choices together for each game.
Supported GOG installers can be imported with the bundled helper instead of being launched as games.
Runtime health checks, controller settings, logs, and clean process handling make troubleshooting clearer.
Compatibility library
Controller-oriented setup notes for a compact action title.

Install or locate your owned game files, then select the game executable or folder in Oldgame VM. Supported GOG setup_*.exe files can be imported through the launcher's extraction flow; installers are never launched as games.
Oldgame VM checks for the x86_64 translation layer it needs on Apple Silicon and prompts for setup when required. The launcher uses a bounded runtime health probe; a live process alone does not prove compatibility.
Use your own installation. Review the profile's executable, working directory, renderer, and controller options. Wildfire is unsupported on free Wine; CrossOver remains detect-only and is not bundled. Audio, save/load, and clean exit still require title-specific verification.
Start with a clean user-owned install and test the profile at your target resolution. Keep compatibility notes honest: a visible window or running PID is not the same as a complete playable verification.
Connect your supported Xbox, PlayStation, or compatible controller before testing. Save the profile after mapping inputs, then record any title-specific behavior in the project compatibility notes.
